Standard & Poor's Recovery Ratings

Latin America

Corporates

Standard & Poor’s initiated insolvency regime research for Latin America in 2007, and we started recovery rating coverage for speculative-grade corporates in Mexico in 2008. Please refer to the “Latest Announcements” section below for more information on Mexico recovery ratings. We expect to roll-out additional recovery rating coverage for corporates in Latin America over the next 12 months. You will also find our insolvency regime research for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, which explain Standard & Poor’s views on the relative creditor-friendliness of the insolvency regimes in each of these jurisdictions.
